Founded by industry veterans Eric Foss, Todd Beard and Clifton Chason, Affliction is a fashion-forward men’s brand, with Sinful being the sister brand. The brands are set apart by a combination of art and ideology with high quality execution. Featuring in-your-face, hand drawn graphics, and the lines embody the pulse of a generation that thrives on the brink of mayhem. With a hangtag that says, “Live Fast, Die Young.” Affliction and Sinful stand for living to the fullest and not stopping for anything or anyone.

That no holds barred lifestyle has carried over to the brands, which emerged at full speed when it launched in August 2005. After making their debut at the Pool Show in Las Vegas, Affliction and Sinful have created not just a buzz, but a sonic boom in the fashion world. Rock bands, celebrities and fashionistas can’t seem to get enough Affliction With fans like Wilmer Valderrama, Tommy Lee, Britney Spears, Bruce Willis, Steven Tyler, Paris Hilton and Keith Urban just to name a few, Affliction and Sinful have already become the new celebrity fashion standard.

Affliction & Sinful graphics are as highly personal, as they are detailed. Each intricate design not only reflects the epic struggle to maintain the balance between good and evil, but in Affliction’s case, they are also the product of the polarity between their makers, Foss, the even-kneeled conservative, and Beard, the volatile, bad seed.

Affliction’s vintage fit tees, hoods, polo’s and thermals display graphics that speak volumes about the music, culture and lifestyle that inspires them. Defined as a state of great suffering and distress due to adversity, Affliction & Sinful illustrates the struggles everyone faces at some point in their life. Since only the strong survive in life, and in business, Foss and Beard are truly living their line.

Each design created by Affliction & Sinful’s team of artists is a distinctive work of art. The garments are hand distressed and softened with various wash techniques including silicon, enzyme, and mineral washes. The graphics are screen-printed using water base inks, which yield a no-hand feel and add to the vintage look.
